ABOUT KYLIE WALKER, LCSW
Kylie is a New York and Connecticut Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her masters degree from Columbia University and completed a two year specialized training program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy’s Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia.
Kylie has worked in various mental health settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics and eating disorder treatment centers. She has a specialty in the treatment of eating disorders, most recently serving as the Clinical Director of Monte Nido Manhattan's Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient eating disorder treatment programs. Additional clinical experience includes treating children and adolescents struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, behavioral impulsivity and trauma, as well as women navigating the transition to motherhood.
Kylie has many years of experience collaborating with children, adolescents, adults and families to develop a treatment plan that addresses each individual's needs and goals. Each client brings with them a history and experiences that are diverse and complex. Kylie’s clinical approach is eclectic, blending aspects from various theoretical approaches including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to meet the unique needs of each client.

Kylie provides individual, family and caregiver/partner support sessions. She has extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate the different treatment options available and building comprehensive outpatient teams. She is available for assessment as well as on-going treatment.
